"Clean Energy" Innovation

We know that Honda's all into alternative energy sources (natural gas, solar panels, hydrogen fuel cells, etc...) - but I thought that the fact that they led in patents in Q1 this year was noteworthy.

Honda Motor Co. Ltd. had the largest number of clean energy patents issued, with 16, followed by 11 patents each for General Electric Co. and General Motors. Auto companies claim six of the study's top 10 spots.

How can you not appreciate the difference in business approaches when you read this?

How many US CEO reports would conclude with this message? How many companies focus on "society wanting them to exist", e.g. someone that helps make the world better?

I didn't realize how long I had been an owner of Honda Motor Company (HMC) until I checked last week. As an owner of this company for the last 4 years, this story was nice to read.
